<FONT COLOR="#009999" FACE="Arial, Helvetica" SIZE="+1">Like a necklace of gemstones</FONT>, St. Vincent and the Grenadines' 32 islands stretch along the
southern end of the Caribbean's Windward Islands for 45 miles. From
St. Vincent's <B>volcanic cliffs</B> dripping with <B>emerald green vegetation</B>
fringed by black sand to Petit St. Vincent's <B>perfect white sand</B> and
<B>aquamarine waters</B>, divers find unspoiled reefs and an incredible diversity
of marine life.

The major areas for diving are scattered throughout the island chain. Bequia,
Canouan, Mustique, St. Vincent, and the area around Mayreau, Tobago Cays,
Palm and Union Islands are serviced by local dive operators.
<P>
The diving in St. Vincent is the best in the Caribbean if you love underwater macro photography,
seahorses, frogfish and exotic creatures. You won't find the quality or quantity of unique
creatures in Dominica, Grenada, Saba, Bonaire, Cozumel, Grand Cayman, Little Cayman, Barbados
or any other Caribbean Island. Here the diving compares only with the Indo-Pacific countries

Diving varies from <B>thrilling drift dives</B> to <B>dramatic wall dives</B>, <B>breath-taking
coral gardens and reefs</B>, to some of the <B>most amazing "muck" diving</B> in
the world.

This site presents details on the diving, topside geography and history,
underwater terrain and marine life, non-diving activities and dive areas
that are of interest when selecting a dive destination. Practical information
for planning and packing for a trip is included.
